An open hub for exchange that reaches out across Kyushu, Asia and to the rest of the world.
In April 1995, ACROS Fukuoka opened in Tenjin, in the heart of Fukuoka City, as a center of international, cultural and informational exchange.
For centuries, Fukuoka has been a city accessible to the world at the crossroads of Asia. We therefore believe that our large-scale facilities at ACROS help ensure its value as a new center of exchange.
The name ACROS is an acronym for "Asian Cross Road Over the Sea - Fukuoka" (ACROS Fukuoka).
Here at ACROS Fukuoka, we strive to act as a crossroad within Asia, positioned as a center for cultural exchange that bridges the seas and forges lasting connections with other Asian countries.
